Mark Toro, Partner


In 1996, Mark Toro established the Atlanta office of North American and since then has led the development of more than 6 million square feet of retail and mixed-use space. An industry veteran, he is very familiar with the region, having developed more than 60 projects, totaling more than 18 million square feet. Armed with an extensive background in engineering and construction, Toro brings a technical capability, unique in a real estate principal, which enables North American to tackle even the most challenging development and repositioning programs. He is currently focused on building North American’s portfolio by identifying distressed retail and multi-family assets and debt, adding value by deploying North American's resources in redevelopment, leasing, management and finance. Prior to opening the Atlanta office, he served as the Atlanta retail development partner for Faison & Associates and vice president of development at Cousins/New Market Development Company.
Eric Mallory, Partner, VP of Development


Eric Mallory joined North American Properties in 2009 to advance the development and leasing initiatives of the Atlanta office. Since 1986, he has been involved with the development of over twenty million square feet of retail and mixed-use projects from Southern California to Boston to Miami. Prior to joining North American Properties, Eric served in leadership roles with Eureka Ventures, Lauth Properties, Developers Diversified Realty and Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust.
Tim Perry, Partner, VP of Acquisitions


Tim Perry brings a fresh capability to North American Properties acquisition initiative with responsibility for developing the company’s distressed opportunity platform. His duties in the role include recruitment of debt and equity partners, underwriting and assessment of acquisition opportunities, structuring joint ventures with institutional owners of real estate and overall development and measurement of strategic objectives. Housed in Atlanta, Mr. Perry is responsible for opportunities in markets ranging from Southern California to Washington D.C., to Florida.

Prior to joining North American Properties, Mr. Perry was a Senior Vice President in C.B. Richard Ellis’ Melody & Company, the mortgage banking arm of CBRE. During his 12 year career with CBRE, he was responsible for integrating the debt platform into other service lines as well as loan origination, equity placement and investment sales. During this tenure, Mr. Perry was involved in over $1 billion of transactions in numerous property types.

Mr. Perry is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He received a BA from Rhodes College.
Greg Browne, Partner, Asset Management


With more than two decades of industry experience, Greg Browne joined North American Properties in 2002 to establish and oversee the company's asset management department. His keen understanding of all aspects of portfolio management and his vast real estate expertise are pivotal to ensuring the long-term performance of the company's investments, as well as the extended quality and integrity of all properties. An industry veteran, Browne is primarily responsible for the strategic management of the company's expansive portfolio that includes shopping and neighborhood centers, office buildings and multi-family communities. His proven industry know-how extends from leasing and asset repositioning to property management, marketing and portfolio administration. Prior to joining North American, Browne served as vice president, asset management services for Trammell Crow Faison for eight years where he was responsible for the asset management of over 20 properties totaling over seven million square feet. Prior to Trammell Crow Faison, he held numerous portfolio management positions at PM Realty Group throughout the country.
Sheri L. Ross, Director of Leasing


In 2009, Sheri L. Ross, CSM re-joined the North American Properties team as Director of Leasing and is currently responsible for all aspects of small shop leasing and outparcel sales for the Atlanta team. Ross' twenty years of commercial real estate experience is diverse making her a true "utility player". Her background includes property management and leasing in various southeastern US markets stretching from Virginia to Florida on a variety of retail project types including grocery-anchored neighborhood centers, mixed-use centers and power centers. Prior to joining North American, Ross served in various leasing and real estate positions with The Sembler Company and CNM Associates in Atlanta, GA and North Hills, Inc. in Raleigh, NC. Ross is a licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia and Florida and she holds the Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
