22ND PUBLIX DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCED FOR SAVANNAH COMMUNITY

SAVANNAH, GA — Construction is underway at North American Properties' 22nd Publix-anchored shopping center in the Southeast, situated on 16.5 acres at the intersection of Georgia Highway 144 and Port Royal Road. In addition to Publix, the 90,000-square-foot retail center will also include approximately 15,000 square feet of small shop space and four outparcels. The neighborhood development will serve the 875-acre, master-planned community, Richmond Hill Plantation, along with other upscale communities including Ford Plantation. Sophisticated architecture will reflect a turn-of-the-century Southern appeal with traditional finishes such as siding and brick. Publix is scheduled to open spring 2007 with the completion of the shopping center expected by summer 2007.
