Overview of Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator of Colony Square assists with all aspects of the property’s marketing activities relevant to planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies, communications, leasing support, digital strategies and public relations activities. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator supports the specialty assets and sponsorship opportunities on property.

Duties and Responsibilities

In order to perform daily duties and responsibilities, the Colony Square Marketing Coordinator must:

  • Directly report to Colony Square's Marketing Manager
  • Identify and maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors ensuring flawless execution and maintenance of Colony Square brand standards
  • Screen and approve all inbound Marketing, Specialty Leasing and Sponsorship requests
  • Screen and approve all inbound Marketing, Specialty Leasing and Sponsorship requests (event requests, non-profit event involvement, advertising, RMU’s, temporary tenants, etc.) – once approved provide applicant with proper paperwork for specific involvement
  • Coordinate the development of marketing communications including branding, collateral materials, content of websites and digital platforms
  • Assist Social Media Coordinator with maintaining and updating Colony Square website and create processes for content gathering for internal and external requests, once applicable
  • Coordinate and follow through with project plans for Signature, Seasonal and Third Party Events with support from Marketing Manager and Social Media Coordinator – include but not limited to logistics meetings, event notifications, on-site presence, event recaps,
  • Process and code all marketing invoices for Colony Square
  • Manage Marketing Budget for Colony Square and ensuring that all expenses are tracked and recorded
  • Track and execute Specialty Leasing and Sponsorship license agreements, if applicable
  • Coordinate incoming payments for Specialty Leasing & Sponsorship opportunities, if applicable
  • Process expense reports for Marketing Manager
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for the Colony Square Marketing Team and provide meeting agendas and meeting minutes for all parties involved
  • Provide administrative support to each member of the Colony Square Marketing Team, as needed
  • Assist Engineering, Housekeeping, Security and all other parties to manage expectations for event logistics and inventory of equipment
  • Focus on improving existing programs and processes while assisting in the creation of new and varied programs that offer a fresh and inviting guest experience
  • Engage and communicate with key community influencers
  • Must be able to assist with Manager On Duty shifts on various weekends at Colony

  • Majority of work time will be spent in an office environment, however, set up and during events, candidate should be able to meet the following physical requirements:
    • Able to lift up to 35 pounds
    • Standing up to 8 hours a day in an outdoor environment
    • Walking up to 8 hours a day
    • Stooping
    • Bending up to 4 hours a day
    • Working outdoors up to 8 hours a day
    • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
