Overview of Job Description

Eleeo Brands is a consumer products company providing individuals with a variety of family-focused health and wellness brands and products.  The Company has broad distribution across the U.S. and in Canada through retail chains and online platforms.  Our growing family of brands has at its core the health, wellness and happiness of every family.

Duties and Responsibilities

In order to perform daily duties and responsibilities, the Senior Accountant must:

  • Daily accounting and financial operations work to maintain books and records
  • Assist Accounting Manager and CFO with all aspects of general accounting including cash, A/R, A/P, inventory, …
  • Work with the Accounting Manager and CFO to develop and maintain meaningful reporting to provide across the organization
  • Perform activities associated with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve any variances
  • Work with other departments to make sure all activities are accounted for in a timely manner
  • Assist with annual budgets and forecast updates throughout the year
  • Analyze financial information for accuracy and trends – work with company personnel to explain variations in financial results
  • Assist with the documentation and maintenance of policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business and strengthen control
  • Help ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Assist with preparation for audits/reviews of financial information by outside accounting firm

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Knowledge of foundational accounting concepts and GAAP
  • Familiarity with financial statements
  • Aptitude for numbers/quantitative skills; attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end / year-end close processes
  • Experience with ERP and accounting systems; NetSuite experience a plus
  • Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, …)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
