Senior Treasury Analyst


Overview of Job Description

North American Properties is seeking a candidate for the Senior Treasury Analyst position located in our Cincinnati office.  NAP is an active real estate firm in the region and across multiple states with new development projects in excess of $500 million and significant retail and multi-family property portfolios.  The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for day-to-day cash positioning and bank account management, ownership for the treasury workstation platform, GTreasury, cash forecasting modeling, debt compliance, and special projects/analysis. This role has executive management exposure and offers the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge of global operations. 

Duties and Responsibilities

In order to perform daily duties and responsibilities, the Senior Treasury Analyst must:

  • Monitor and manage the company's daily cash position, including inter-company transfers and ensure that cash requirements are accurately and timely forecasted and funded 
  • Maintain banking relationships to include all functions for setup and closure of accounts utilizing Nexus, MRI, Timberline, Entrata & GTreasury   
  • Day to day administration of GTreasury including implementation of Phase 2 and Phase 3 of GTreasury software
  • Work alongside Accounting team members, make continuous improvement of cash management policies and best practices
  • Oversee payroll to include new hire processing, time verification, and invoicing

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience
  • Experience pulling, normalizing, and analyzing data from ERP and Accounting systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete tasks with minimal direction
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, able to work on time sensitive projects without daily supervision
  • Exhibit forward and innovative thinking to inside and outside influences as they affect our cash needs
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Team player with ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Eager to learn and willing to take on additional assignments and/or ad hoc projects as assigned
  • GTreasury experience a plus
