Director of Marketing, NAP Atlanta
Sara Hemmer launched her career in commercial real estate in 2014, when she joined NAP as the Marketing Assistant at Avalon. She served on the team that planned and executed the mixed-use destination’s award-winning grand opening celebration, and during her time there helped establish key elements of NAP’s secret ExperienceMaking® sauce, including event programming and community partnerships.
After two years in Alpharetta, Sara transitioned to the marketing team at Colony Square, where she played a major role in the redevelopment of the 50-year-old, mixed-use destination located at the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Here, she managed all aspects of the marketing strategy and oversaw 100+ community engagement initiatives as the property remained open 24/7 throughout construction. She also helped identify opportunities to further elevate the guest experience by adding thoughtful public-facing elements, such as a covered performance stage in The Plaza. Sara was named Director of Marketing in 2021 and now focuses on curating and deploying customized marketing programs at all newly acquired assets, while also mentoring the marketing managers at each of NAP’s existing properties.
Sara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia College & State University. Outside of work she enjoys live music and fitness, and has been actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta for more than four years. Sara is always eager to lend a helping hand and loves giving back to the community.
