Richard Sanchez is a senior construction professional with over three decades of experience delivering large scale multifamily, high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, and public improvement projects across Texas and California. Richard joined North American Properties in 2022 and participates in design development and permitting through preconstruction, and leads projects from scheduling, buyout, construction execution, and closeout.  Richard’s top priority is delivering projects on time and within budget.

Richard holds licensure as a Professional Civil Engineer and General Contractor and brings a builder’s mindset with a structural engineering background, combining technical expertise with practical field leadership. He has managed high density urban developments including Type I high-rise residential towers, podium projects, and mixed-use communities with integrated retail and amenity components. His portfolio includes projects ranging from $20 million to over $200 million, with direct involvement in the delivery of thousands of residential units across competitive urban markets.

Prior to his current role, Richard held positions with leading developer builders including Holland Partner Group, where he was responsible for executing complex high-rise developments in downtown Los Angeles and San Diego California. His experience also includes large scale civic projects, adaptive reuse, and LEED certified commercial developments, providing a well-rounded perspective across asset classes and delivery methods.

Known for aligning Ownership, design teams, and subcontractors, Richard drives value through disciplined preconstruction, establish critical path activities, strategic procurement, and hands on project leadership. His approach emphasizes constructability, risk mitigation, and efficient execution to maximize returns with minimize disruption.
