Shawn McIntyre believes in changing the world, one home at a time. Whether he is developing innovative communities for North American Properties, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, or facilitating medical treatment overseas, Shawn always prioritizes character and doing the right thing.

He joined NAP in 1998 and oversees the acquisition, analyzing, planning, permitting and construction of Florida real estate projects. In addition to serving as Managing Partner of NAP Florida, he is President of NAPCON, the NAP general contracting company in Florida. He has been involved in Florida real estate projects since 1985 and brings unique and creative solutions to the ever-changing entitlement environment facing the local real estate industry.

Shawn led NAP to the successful completion of six student housing projects (1800+ beds) at Florida State University and is leading the development and construction team of Cascades, a $150 million, two-city-block mixed-use project in downtown Tallahassee. He is leading NAP to Space Coast development including LUNA in Viera, 245-unit urban apartments, a 60,000 square foot class-A office in Viera, and an industrial/manufacturing project in Titusville. Prior to joining NAP, his projects included residential golf course communities, a commercial/industrial office park, a manufacturing facility, a marina and numerous multi-use developments in Southwest Florida.

He served in the U.S. Navy and has provided logistics support for medical mission teams traveling to Central America for more than 12 years. He served eight years on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lee County, Florida, is a member of the executive board of the FSU Real Estate Center, College of Business, and is a member of the FGCU Real Estate Foundation Board. He is a licensed State of Florida Underground Utilities Contractor.
